People have been pestering me to try ‘Game of Thrones’ for a while now,

saying that it’s really smart and unique and doesn’t feature a lot of the nasty bits of fantasy fiction.

And I gotta hand it to them, apart from the kings and castles, swords and sigils, bastards and dwarves, poison and plotters, dragon eggs, snow people, the implied pedophiliac incest, the pedophiliac rape and the grown-up incest, they’re absolutely right.
